Floyd Averitt, 59, died in Elk
Grove, California. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and
an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-California.
John H. Barrett, 62, died June 24 from cancer. He served
in the U.S. Army from September 7, 1969, to February 10,
1972, with service in the Vietnam War. He was a member of
Vietnam Veterans of America-Stoneham Chapter 837.
William
Allen Bartow, 61, died July 26, 2005, in Chicago from head
and neck carcinoma. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from
1964-67 as a Sergeant with two tours of duty in the Vietnam
War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Illinois.
Robert W. Bebee, 65, died in Fresno, California. He was
a member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America-Fresno
Chapter 933.
Terry A. Bird, 57, died August 22 in Phillipsburg,
New Jersey, from a heart attack and cancer. He served in
the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-75. He was
a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Easton Chapter 415.
Keith
Thomas Blackman, 59, died September 6 in Saint George, Utah,
of Agent Orange-related melanoma cancer, liver and kidney
failure. He served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam running swift
boats. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Saint
George Chapter 961.
Ronald Howard Blevins, 57, died August
28 at his residence in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, from atherosclerotic
cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus. He served in
the U.S. Army with a tour in Vietnam from 1968-69. He was
a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Chattanooga Chapter
203.
Stephen M. Borg, 63, died August 10 in Iron Mountain,
Michigan, from liver disease. He served in the U.S. Army
in the Vietnam War at the rank of Captain. He was a life
member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Negaunee Chapter 380.
George
E. Brattain, Sr., 75, died May 15 in Greenfield, Indiana,
from coronary artery disease, prostate and bone cancer, and
renal failure. He served in the U.S. Army from May 1949 until
his retirement in June 1972 at the rank of First Sergeant
(E-8). He served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and
was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was
a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Richmond Chapter
777.
David Earl Brown, 57, died July 26 at his home in Ponca
City, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from November
1969-71, with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Ponca City Chapter 750.
Ricki
Lynn-Ann Champion, 55, died June 15 in Buda, Texas. She served
in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era and retired
after more than twenty years of service as an Air Lift Control
Command Specialist. She was a member of Vietnam Veterans
of America-San Marcos Chapter 923.
Ronald John Chase, 55,
died September 30 in Hudson, Florida, of Agent Orange-related
liver disease, hepatitis C, and diabetes type II. He served
in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War.
Howard Cobb, 68,
died May 20, 2005, in Rutland, Vermont, from his third heart
attack. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years during
the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Rutland
Chapter 1.
Robert N. Cooper, 76, died April 20, 2006, in Brandon,
Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after
twenty years of service. He was a life member of Vietnam
Veterans of America-Tampa Chapter 787.
Willard Paul Cornwell,
Jr., 59, died October 16, 2006, in Grifton, North Carolina,
from a heart attack. He served in the U.S. Navy during the
Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Greenville
Chapter 272.
Edmund Richard Cournoyer, Jr., 56, died July
19 at his home in Springfield, Massachusetts. He served for
twelve years in the U.S. Navy with a tour of duty during
the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans
of America-Springfield Chapter 111.
Terry Eugene Craig, 58,
died May 25 in Topeka, Kansas, during surgery. He served
in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Richmond Chapter 777.
John
Arthur Deering, Sr., 64, died October 8 in Millersville,
Tennessee, from a massive heart attack. He served in the
U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a Prisoner
of War for over five years. He is a recipient of the Purple
Heart. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Gallatin
Chapter 240. He served on the first National VVA Board of
Directors in 1983 and was scheduled to be a keynote speaker
for the 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veteran Memorial
on November 10.
Harry Bernard Deshong, Jr., 60, died September
13 in Phoenix. He served in the U.S. Army from July 1967-69
with a tour of duty in Vietnam where he was awarded the Silver
Star, two Bronze Stars, and a Purple Heart. He was a member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Phoenix Chapter 432.
Richard
James Ducey, 58, died August 30 in Sanbornton, New Hampshire,
from Agent Orange-related cancer. He served in the U.S. Army
and while in Vietnam served with the 25th Infantry Division
and was combat wounded. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans
of America-Bow Chapter 41.
Lawrence Esposito, 56, died September
21 in Brentwood, New York. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps
during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans
of America-Farmingdale Chapter 11.
Tommy L. Erwin, 49, died
in Rosharon, Texas. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era.
He was a permanently hospitalized veteran member of Vietnam
Veterans of America-Houston Chapter 343.
Ronald Gene Forehand,
64, died on July 30 in Centralia, Illinois, from acute myocardial
infarction, chronic hypertension, and diabetes mellitus.
He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a Military Police
advisor and attained the rank of Specialist Four. He was
a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Centralia Chapter
176.
Jimmy Clifton Fowler, Sr., 59, died August 19 in Greenville,
South Carolina, from Agent Orange-related lung cancer and
bone metastases. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-69
with service in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam
Veterans of America-Greenville Chapter 523.
David N. Francis,
59, died September 1 in Alliance, Ohio, from Agent Orange-related
lung cancer. He served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty
in the Vietnam War from August 1968-69. He was a life member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Alliance Chapter 157.

Lawrence Garcia, 61, died August 15 in Albuquerque from atherosclerotic
cardiac disease, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. He
served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was an
at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New Mexico.

B. Graham, 66, died in Lafayette, Indiana. He was a permanently
hospitalized veteran. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War
and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Portage Chapter
905.
Joseph Douglas Grizzard, 63, died June 13 in Washington,
North Carolina, from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army from
1966-68 with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1967-68. He was
a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Greenville Chapter
272.
Charles A. Haddad, 60, died in August in Sandpoint, Idaho.
He was veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Vietnam
Veterans of America-Kootenai Chapter 890.
Robert William Hagan,
58, died August 1 in Houston from a heart attack. He served
in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a life
member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Houston Chapter 343.

S. Hall, 58, died August 31 in Union, New Jersey. He was
a member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America-Westfield
Chapter 688.
Orville L. Hoath, Jr., 58, died in Coldwater,
Michigan. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Coldwater Chapter 730.
Robert
F. Hoch, 49, was killed by an automobile while bicycling
November 20, 1992, in Jacksonville, Florida. He served in
the U.S. Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam from December
1967 to July 1969 and then again from August 1971 to February
1972. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Tallahassee
Chapter 96.
Donald Eugene Hood, 60, died October 9 in Ringgold,
Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the 101st
Airborne Division. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of
America-Chattanooga Chapter 203.
Gary L. Hudgens, 59, died
May 2 in Warner Robins, Georgia, from cancer. He served in
the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was awarded
the Bronze Star. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Warner

William P. Hughes, 69, died August 27
in Angeles City, the Philippines, from cardiac arrest. He
served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a
member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Angeles City (Philippines)

Ronald Gary Hutson, 60, died June 21 in Arlington,
Wyoming, from head trauma received during an automobile accident.
He served in the U.S. Navy from August 1965 to July 1969
with a tour in the Vietnam War. He was awarded two Purple
Hearts for injuries sustained in war. He was a life member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Sacramento Chapter 500.

Jackson, 56, died September 16 in Conyers, Georgia. He served
in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968-69.

Jerry Mareland Johnson, 58, died March 26 in Zavalla,
Texas. He served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.

Darrell G. McKnight, 57, died November 30, 2006, in Atmore,
Alabama, from Agent Orange-related liver failure. He served
in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1969-70
with the 101st Airborne Division. He was awarded the Bronze
Star for his service in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam
Veterans of America-Atmore Chapter 190.
Gerard Joseph McManus,
59, died October 9 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, from cancer.
He served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Korea and
two tours of duty in Vietnam with the First Cavalry Division,
2/20 Aerial Rocket Artillery, and was a door gunner. He was
a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Liberty Bell
(Philadelphia) Chapter 266.
James Merlini died in Montgomery,
Alabama. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam
War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Central
Alabama Chapter 607.
Henry James Miller, 85, died at home
on March 7. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942
and trained on the B-17 “Flying
Fortress” during World War II. He also served during
the Korean War, two Berlin Crises, and the Vietnam War. He
retired at the rank of Master Sergeant (E-8). He was a life
member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New City Chapter 333.

Mitchell, 75, died February 18 in McKinney, Texas, from lung
cancer. She was a life member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans

8 in Red Hill, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of the Vietnam

Kansas, from respiratory failure due to pneumonia. He was

67, died July 27 in San Marcos, Texas, from myocardial infarction.
He served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty of in Vietnam

Daniel Tucker Rohrer, 56, died June 21, 2006,
in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He served in the U.S. Army

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps with two tours of duty

November 18, 2006, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, from upper
gastrointestinal bleeding. He served in the U.S. Army during

Ronald P. Schultz, 61, died
July 5 in Geneseo, Illinois, from a heart attack while attending
a reunion of his Vietnam War shipmates. He served in the
U.S. Navy. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Rock

Carl J. Schweikle, 64, died May 2 in Chestertown,
Maryland, from cancer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War
and a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Des Plaines
(Illinois) Chapter 311.

10 in Munising, Michigan. He was a veteran of the Vietnam
War and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Munising

Edward J. Sepesy, 58, died November 20, 2006,
in Springfield, Illinois, from metastatic cancer and a subdural
hematoma. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era

19 in Alexandria, Kentucky, of esophageal cancer. He served

Michigan, from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army with a
tour in Vietnam from November 1967 to September 1968. He

Bruce Tufts died in Okeechobee, Florida. He served
in the U.S. Army. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans

Worth, Texas, after an automobile accident. He served in
the U.S. Navy from 1956 until his retirement in 1982 with
a tour of duty in Vietnam. He retired at the rank of commander.

from cancer. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam
era from 1971-73. He was a member of Associates of Vietnam

57, died January 22 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, from cancer. He
served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam from
1969-70. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Fort
Dodge Chapter 861.
Michael Weber, 56, died April 25 in Flagler Beach, Florida,
of Agent Orange-related hepatitis C. He is survived by his
wife, Suzanne Blohm-Weber. A veteran of the Vietnam War,
Weber was a great advocate for homeless veterans, which earned
him the Humanitarian Award from the Chapel of Four Chaplains.
He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America- Edgewater
Chapter 916.
Edward J. Weeks, Jr., 57, died in 2004 in Woodmere,
New York. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Hicksville Chapter 82.
Clarence
Whiteaker, 56, died June 3 in Jackson, Michigan, from hypertension
and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus.
He served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam
in 1968. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Jackson
Chapter 109.
Ronald G. Winkeler, 58, died May 17 in Bartelso,
Illinois. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member
of Vietnam Veterans of America-Carlyle Chapter 269.

Thomas Wiser, 66, died September 5 in Sugar City, Idaho.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, assigned
to the 116th Engineers from 1968-69. He was a member of Vietnam

60, died January 13, 2007, in Rockport, Indiana, of leukemia.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was
a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Rockport Chapter

James M. Zeth, 60, died December 20, 2006, in Duncansville,
Pennsylvania, of lung cancer, pneumonia, and sepsis. He served
in the U.S. Army from 1966-72. In Vietnam he served from
1967-68 with Company C, 3rd Battalion, 10th Infantry. He
was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Hollidaysburg
Chapter 967.
