BY KATHY ANDRAS, CHAIR
Living in the South, we are informed months in advance to prepare for the hurricane season. That is exactly what we are doing for the upcoming election period for AVVA. Start now on reviewing the qualifications and the duties for the offices of National President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasury, and the nine Regional Directors.

Letters will go out soon since our elections are now held in July, rather than August. Packets will be mailed to the National Officers of VVA and AVVA, AVVA Regional Directors, and the State Representative or Presidents of AVVA. I also will mail the packets to the VVA State Council Presidents for them to distribute to chapters that do not have state representatives.

If you have any questions on the upcoming National Elections, feel free to contact me at any time.
