The Updates Committee wants to email Updates to every AVVA member. Unfortunately, we do not have email addresses for everyone and many are incorrect. Please make sure that VVA National has your most current email address because that is how you will receive the Updates newsletter. It also will be available on our website, www.avva.org For those without a computer, your local library or a friend’s computer might work for you. If you are unable to gain access to a computer, we will find a solution that will work for you.
We are looking for your input: What would you like to see in Updates? If you have something to contribute, this is your newsletter. We will be changing as we go, using technology to create cost-effective communications. As a non-profit, we have an obligation to keep administrative costs to a minimum, and we ask you to help.

Updates submissions must have the who, what, when, where, and why. We also need the name of the author and a contact number for that person. The committee and I will edit. We recommend that all articles be edited by someone prior to submission.
Articles need to be concise, informative, and understandable. We are available to help develop a well-written article. Articles may be submitted to your State Representative, Regional Director, or directly to the Updates Committee at avvaupdates@yahoo.com If you choose direct submission, please forward a copy to your State Representative/President and Regional Director.
The committee looks forward to serving you and expanding our contact base with this exciting form of communication. We also request that anyone interested in becoming a member of the AVVA press club contact us.
