BY KATHY ANDRAS, AVVA ELECTION COMMITTEE CHAIR

Elections are being held for Chapter and State Representatives or State President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, if your state is incorporated. Election packets were mailed in January to all Regional Directors and State Representatives or State Presidents. If you did not receive one, or you need help with your elections, contact me for assistance.

Elections will be conducted as stated in the AVVA Policy and Procedures Manual. An Election Chair must be appointed by the State Representative or State President. It is the duty of the Election Chair in your state to receive the letters of intent and to distribute the letters to all chapter representatives for review with their members. The election chair will conduct the elections. Ballots are mandatory for all elected positions.

This is your organization so step up and become involved.
