WHEN? April 16-18, 2009

WHERE? Embassy Suites, Charleston, West Virginia

Region 3 is preparing for its annual conference, hosted by the West Virginia State Council and chapters. The conferences are held to bring everyone in the region together to exchange information and hold informative seminars.

The tentative seminar schedule includes sessions on health-related concerns for our generation, new Convention delegate information, secondary PTSD stressors, and grant writing.

Pre-registration has started and ends March 20. For VVA members, early registration and dinner is $60; on site, it’s $70. For AVVA members, early registration and dinner is $50; on site, $60. For those attending as non-registered members and guests, the closing dinner and entertainment on Saturday, April 18, will run $45.

The Embassy Suite room rate for the conference, which must be reserved prior to March 20, is $95 (excluding tax) for one person and $113 (excluding tax) for a two-person suite. All rooms are suites. Triples and quads also are available. Guests at the Embassy are entitled to daily free made-to-order breakfasts and an evening manager’s reception. Hotel parking is $8.
