SSG Zeke Anderson (Actor Terence Knox)

Actor Terence Knox played SSG Clayton “Zeke” Anderson in the TV series Tour of Duty. The show ran on CBS for three seasons, from September 1987 to April 1990. It followed an American infantry platoon on a tour of duty during the Vietnam War, and was the first TV series to regularly show Americans in combat in Vietnam.

Not simply an action program, Tour of Duty addressed the issues of racism, suicide, fragging, terrorism, civilian deaths, drug abuse, and the readjustment problems of Vietnam veterans after they came home.

The series focused mainly on Bravo company's second platoon under the command of 2nd Lieutenant Myron Goldman (played by Stephen Caffrey), and Sergeant Zeke Anderson played by Knox.

Terry Knox will receive VVA’s President’s Award for Excellence in the Arts at the Saturday night Awards Banquet, and will take part in the Saturday afternoon autographing session and book signing.
