Lester L. King, Jr., died July 30 in Greenville, South Carolina. He was born September 16, 1940. King served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Greenville Chapter 523.
Ronald J. Kraehnke died August 7 in Jefferson, Wisconsin. He was born July 17, 1947. Kraehnke served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1967-68. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Fort Atkinson Chapter 409.
Frank E. Krumreich died in August in Indianapolis. He was born October 6, 1942. Krumreich served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1964-68, with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Indiana.
William E. Kuntz died recently in Toms River, New Jersey. He was born October 31, 1943. Kuntz was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New Jersey.
James Kenneth Kurrasch died September 8 in Goleta, California, of a heart condition. He was born November 28, 1948. Kurrasch enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Regulus. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Santa Barbara Chapter 218.
Raymond J. Lacroix died recently in Texarkana, Texas. He was born October 15, 1942. LaCroix was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America- Texarkana Chapter 278.
Robert Arnold Lewis died recently in London, Kentucky. He was born August 17, 1945. Lewis served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America- Pittsburg Chapter 621.
Earl Ernest Lindell died November 21 in Athol, Massachusetts. He was born February 20, 1923. Lindell served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War aboard the USS Whale and the USS Nautilus submarines. He also served with the Merchant Marines in Vietnam in 1961. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Athol Chapter 340.
Nicholas B. Loffredo died July 5 in West Des Moines, Iowa, of cancer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Des Moines Chapter 490.
Leonard J. Lukazewski died July 8 in Merrillville, Indiana. He was born November 21, 1923. Lukazewski enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-46. After ordination, he served as chaplain with the Indiana National Guard from 1958-61 and the U.S. Army from 1961-88, serving in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Merrillville Chapter 285 and served as its chaplain.
David Marsh died July 25 in Polk City, Florida, of cancer. He was born April 25, 1941. Marsh served in the U.S. Marine Corps with service in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Polk City Chapter 726.
George A. McCartney died recently in Ardsley, Pennsylvania. He was born July 14, 1945. McCartney served in the U.S. Army from 1963-66 with service in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Liberty Bell Chapter 266.
Bruce L. McKinstry died August 22 in Seattle. He was born July 19, 1946. McKinstry served in the U.S. Navy from 1964-70, with a tour in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Seattle Chapter 102.
Thomas F. Mellett died March 21, 2002, in Quincy, Massachusetts, of Agent Orange-related illness. He was born December 5, 1946. Mellett was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New Bedford Chapter 499.
David L. Mercier died September 24 in Bennington, Vermont. He was born May 22, 1938. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1966-67. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Bennington Chapter 601.
Richard L. Metzler died September 19 in Jackson Heights, New York, of a heart attack. Metzler served in the U.S. Navy supporting operations in the Vietnam War theater. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Rego Park Chapter 32.
Gilbert A. Miller died recently in Ashland, Oregon. Miller was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Salem Chapter 271.
Raymond K. Miller died recently in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. He was born November 7, 1947. Miller was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New Jersey.
Dorothy M. Mock died July 10 in Midway, Georgia. She was born February 1, 1928. She was a member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America-Hinesville Chapter 789.
Martin Molyneux died recently in Colona, Illinois. He was born January 8, 1950. Molyneux was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Bettendorf Chapter 776.
Arthur J. Moore died January 31 in North Port. He was born November 7, 1930. Moore was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America- Florida.
Willie A. Morgan died June 9 in Kennewick, Washington. He was born June 6, 1956. Morgan was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Kennewick Chapter 335.
Carl Boyd Morton died May 8 in Quapaw, Oklahoma. He was born May 17, 1931. Morton served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Miami Chapter 277.
Lawrence Mundell died November 3 in Newington, Connecticut. Mundell served in the U.S. Army with a tour in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Hartford Chapter 120.
Ronald Patrick Murphy died March 10 in Elk Grove, California, of Agent Orange-related illness. He was born May 23, 1941. Murphy served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War in 1970-71. He was an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-California.
Ronald B. Olink died recently in Inkster, Michigan. He was born January 19, 1948. Olink was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Dearborn Chapter 267.
Ulysses J. Perry died recently in Philadelphia. He was born January 25, 1919. Perry was a veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Liberty Bell Chapter 266 in Philadelphia.
Larry R. Pierce died recently in Salem, Oregon. He was born September 21, 1951. Pierce served in the U.S. Army from 1971-73 with service in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Ashland Chapter 754.
Don E. Pollock died November 10, 2002, in Nevada, Missouri, of heart failure. He was born August 19, 1954. Pollock served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-78. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Nevada Chapter 918.
Glenn Franklyn Porter died recently in Sanford ,Texas. He was born June 16, 1936. Porter enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps with service in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-St. Peters (Missouri) Chapter 458.
James D. Pothier died July 23 in Norwich, Connecticut, of cancer. He was born July 22, 1946. Pothier served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Truxtun during the Vietnam War. He was a member, vice-president, chaplain, and color guard member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Norwich Chapter 270.
Lester Lawrence Pringle died January 2 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was born March 17, 1943. Pringle enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in July 1961. He was stationed in Vietnam in 1968-69 and assigned to the 554th Red Horse Squadron in Phan Rang. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Mayville Chapter 374.
Richard D. Rando, Sr., died July 16 in Frostburg, Maryland. He was born January 28, 1947. Rando served in the U.S. Air Force with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Cumberland Chapter 172.
Wallace G. Ray died recently in Tobias, Nebraska. He was born August 16, 1946. Ray was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Nebraska.
Amador T. Reyes died May 25 in Hurley, New Mexico. He was born on February 3, 1946. Reyes served in the U.S. Army from 1966-68 with a tour in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Bayard Chapter 358.
David L. Reynolds, Sr., died August 22 in Gallipolis, Ohio, of a heart attack. He was born September 9, 1934. Reynolds served in the U.S. Army and retired from service with two tours of duty in Vietnam from 1968-71. He also served in the Korean War. He was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Gallipolis Chapter 709.
Theodore G. Ribar died September 14 in Burns Harbor, Indiana. He was born September 6, 1923. Ribard served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a charter member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Porter County Chapter 905.
Marvin Edward Rice died January 20 in Elkhart, Indiana. He was born November 23, 1949. Rice served in the U.S. Army from 1969-71. In Vietnam he served with ``Wolfhounds.’’ He was the recipient of the Bronze Star. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Indiana.
Marcia Rosenwald died recently in Staten Island, New York. She was a member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America-Staten Island Chapter 421.
Heriberto Ruiz-Ruiz died October 29 in Puerto Rico of illness related to exposure to Agent Orange. Ruiz-Ruiz was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-San Juan Chapter 59.
Brian A. Russo died August 30 in West Wareham, Massachusetts, of lung cancer. He was born May 9, 1950. Russon served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division from 1969-70 He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New York.
Daniel John Salmela died August 12 in Las Vegas. He was born June 30, 1954. Salmela served in the U.S. Navy, including a tour in Vietnam as a brown-water sailor in the Mekong Delta. He was an active member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Las Vegas Chapter 17. He was also a member of its board of directors.
Gerald J. Sanchez died August 22 in Fall River, Massachusetts, of Hodgkin’s lymphoma and heart disease. Sanchez served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the 1st Infantry Division. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Westport Chapter 207.
Kenneth Wayne Sanders died May 31 in Kountze, Texas. He was born March 10, 1947. Sanders served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam in 1969-70. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Orange Chapter 348.
Isabelle (Kasper) Schuster died September 5 of heart failure. She was born in May 1933. Schuster was a member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America-Des Plaines Chapter 311. She was the recipient of the Associate of the Year Award.
Ronald James Sees, Sr., died recently in Jackson, Michigan. He was born June 14, 1948. Sees served in the U.S. Army from 1965-66 during the Vietnam Era. He was a member and former president of Vietnam Veterans of America-Hank Phillips Memorial Chapter 386.
Robert Eugene Shere died March 22 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born April 20, 1947. Shere served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Miami Chapter 277.
Charles H. Shurtleff died August 6 in Hinesville, Georgia. He was born February 21, 1942. Shurtleff served in the U.S. Army from 1964-87, with two in-country tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Hinesville Chapter 789.
Phillip E. Spencer died March 14, 2002, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born February 10, 1949. Spencer served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the 4th Infantry Division. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Kansas City Chapter 317.
David Stits died September 27 in Riverside, California, of injuries sustained in an aviation accident. He was born September 10, 1947. Stits served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Brigade. He was awarded the Silver Star and two Purple Hearts. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Riverside Chapter 47.
Charles A. Stroud died May 16 in Ben Brook, Texas. Stroud was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Benbrook Chapter 330.
Mario Guadalupe Talamante died recently in Los Angeles. He was born January 7, 1950. Talamante served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970-73, with a tour in Vietnam. He was an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-California.
John P. Turner died recently in Angeles City, Philippines. He was born September 17, 1936. Turner served in the U.S. Army with service in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Philippines Chapter 887.
Alfred F. Valderrama died recently in La Combe, Louisiana. He was born May 28, 1952. Valderrama was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Slidell Chapter 697.
Russell A. Volkert died recently in Houston. He was born November 17, 1938. Volkert was a veteran of the Vietnam War and an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Texas.
Larry Allen Walter died August 11 in Austin, Texas, of injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 29, 1948. Walter served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-La Grange Chapter 893.
Walter C. Warn died March 26 in Ooltewah, Tennessee, of a heart attack. He was born September 2, 1929. Warn served in the U.S. Army from 1965-77, with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Tulsa Chapter 216.
Ralph S. Williams died recently in Centralia, Illinois. He was born January 22, 1948. Williams was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Illinois.
Ed Zarnecky died October 11 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Zarnecky was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Mt. Clemens Chapter 154.
