At a Celebration Luncheon sponsored by VVA, Lt. Col. Janis Nark, a motivational speaker, discussed the things powerful women do.
VVA Indiana State Council President Anna Marie Rutallie joined other women in placing a wreath at the Women's Memorial in memory of Sharon Boyer.
VVA National Chaplain Fr. Phil Salois officiated at he ceremonies at the National City Christian Church, which culminated with the reading of the names of American women who died in the Vietnam War. As each name was read, a votive candle was lit. Then all the candles were blown out.
