Donald R. McDole
I served in the Army from 1966 to 1973. I completed
two tours of duty in Vietnam as an Infantryman and a
Military Policeman. I have served for the past 28
years in the Army Reserve.
I am employed by Department of Homeland Security,
Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a
Supervisory Special Agent. The United States
Government has employed me for over 33 years, the last
18 being in a management role. I am retiring in
September 2003 to
spend more time with family and to devote time to VVA.
Prior to my management experience, I served for 7
years as the President of two different Union Locals
representing approximately 1100 employees. I also
served as a Special Assistant to the National
President of our Union Council for two years
representing approximately 13,000 employees.
I have been married to Ofelia for 27 years; together
we have six children and 22 grandchildren.
I hold an AA Degree in Criminal Justice and a BS
degree in Paralegal Studies.
I am a life member of VVA; I am currently the
President of the Idaho State Council, President of
Chapter 872, Secretary to the Conference of State
Council Presidents and Chair of the Region 8
Disciplinary Committee.
If elected I will bring new perspectives to the Board
of Directors. I beleive in accountability, honesty and
integrity. I am extremely confident that I can
represent you, the membership, on the Board of
Directors.
