John T. Koprowski
I first became involved
with Vietnam Veterans of America in 1986 and since
then it's been a great tour of duty and continues to
be a challenge. It is one that I take seriously and
without remorse.
Personal info, well I am a 65 year-old semi retiree,
married to Joyce, have four children and five
grandchildren. I served in the United States Marine
Corps for 23 years, retired as an MSgt E-8 and yes, I
served in every clime and place including I Corps
67-68 with the 1st Marine Division.
Since I've become involved with Vietnam Veterans of
America, I have served as a sponsor of Chapter 195, an
incarcerated chapter from 1986-1995. From 1990-1994 I
served as secretary of the Florida State Council and
then as 1st Vice President from 1994-1995 and
President from
1995-2000. I presently serve as 1st Vice President of
the Florida Vietnam Veterans Assistance Foundation and
as your Regional 4 Director.
I haven't changed my morals, my standards or my
values. I still believe in all that Vietnam Veterans
of America entails. I still believe that you, the
members, are the most important people in our
organization. The grass roots level is where it all
starts, without YOU, there is no organization. YOU are
the life and YOU are the blood of the organization.
I would appreciate your support again in re-electing
me to be your representative as Regional Director. I
can promise you that I will continue to do what's best
for YOU and the Vietnam Veterans of America. |
