Larry Klein I
want to thank all VVA/AVVA members and everyone else
in Region II for the honor of serving as your Region
II Director. It is now time to pass the baton onto
someone else and move on. To those outside Region II
who may not know me, I served in the US Army for
twenty years, including a year in Korea (64-65), a
year in Vietnam (66-67) with the 11th ARC, eight years
in Germany and four years with the US Army Recruiting
Command. I joined VVA in 1991 and have served in every
Chapter elected and appointed position as well as a
delegate for the NYSC
prior to being elected as Region II Director for two,
two year terms. I have served on several National
Committees and presently chair the POW/MIA Committee.
If elected back to the Board, I hope to continue as
Chair. During the four years I have served on the
Board I have tried to show that my concerns for a
better VVA have always been the same as those I
pledged to serve, with membership and how VVA spends
our money as the highest priority. If elected to serve
as one of your At Large Directors I will continue my
commitment to the grass route members and not be suede
by the majority when it comes to voting on issues that
concern and effect us all. I ask for your vote of
confidence by voting me back onto the Board of
Directors. Thank you. |
