Lee Fisher Lee
Fisher was born on July 19th, 1945 in Fall River
Massachusetts. He enlisted in the Air Force June 1963
after graduating from high school and was honorably
discharged from the Air Force June 1967 upon his
return from Vietnam. He served in country from
September of 1966 until June 1967, spending his tour
in country with the 1st Air Cavalry Division in the
central highlands, as a member of an Air Force TAC Air
Control Party. He is married and has three children,
all girls, 3 grandkids, and a black lab. His wife
Patty has always been involved with VVA and now AVVA.
He has been a life member since 1992, with several
tours as Chapter President for 717 and 900, also
filling positions on the Buckeye State Council from
1994 until
September of 2000, at which time he became President
and in 2002, 2nd Vice President of Council of State
Council Presidents.
Why am I running for At Large Director? I feel we are
running out of time as an organization. Because of
this, WE need to unify. National must be responsible
to the State Council Presidents and Membership, they
in turn must be responsible to each other and
National. When that occurs,
WE will be able to truly able to move forward, because
the communication and respect will allow it to happen.
When WE unify, WE can handle any problems, membership,
finances, etc. That is my primary goal for seeking
this position. I appreciate your support. |
