ISO Friends of Nguyen Ngoc Hai
I am writing on behalf of my mother
to report to your members about my wonderful father, Nguyen
Ngoc Hai, a patriotic soldier who put his life at risk to
help Amercian military forces fight communism in Vietnam.
Unfortunately, my father was caught, hung up on a pole, and
executed on March 10, 1975, in Quang Duc Province.
My father worked for the CIDG, 5th U.S. Special Forces Team,
Duc Lap Outpost Team 119, 36th Platoon Reconnaissance Unit,
Sector II in Dak Sak-Tho Hoang. He worked under the
command of Chief Adviser LTC Julian, MSG Gregory, CPT Hoang
Phung, LT Ho Duc Vinh. Some American friends visited my
family's home in Xa Doai Parish. They include: LT Hill, CPT
Poor, LT Morrow, LT Heavy, MSG Kool, and MSG Kerr.
My hope is that these and other friends of my father will
contact me or my mother, who has tried very hard to recall all
of these memories. Contact: Brian Tran, 1900 N. Underwood St.,
Arlington, VA 22205; 202-535-2653 (work); 703-244-2119 (home);
