A H34 helicopter crashed in Danang assigned to 2/4th Bn., 3rd Mar. Div., June 1968. The chopper was going to Iwo Jima and Princeton helicopter carriers. The crash occurred a few feet from the Red Cross station in Danang, and there were no serious injuries. However, I suffered a dislocated vertebra and need an affidavit from the pilot and door gunner. Looking for Patrick J. McInerney who served with me at the Naval Station, Rota, Spain, 1961-63, and was assigned to the base photo lab.
