Trying to track down Capt. Homer C. Groves. While serving with
3rd Bn., Royal Australian Reg., 1967-68, I was wounded during the Tet

I am an Australian veteran who served as a RW pilot with the Australian
161st Recce Flight based with the 173rd Bde., Bien Hoa,
1965-66. I was wounded during Operation Abilene, March/April 1966 and
evacuated first to the 93rd Evacuation Hospital, Bien Hoa. I was visited
by, I think, Capt. Dupuy, who advised I had been awarded the DFC by
1st Div. commander. This was the last I heard of the award and am now told

The Mississippi Vietnam Veterans Memorial Commission is seeking
to locate sailors who served aboard the nuclear cruiser, USS
Mississippi CGN-40. The main mast was donated to the
memorial by the Navy. The memorial commission is trying to identify and
locate these sailors and marines to let them know about plans to have the
mast mounted at the site of the Mississippi Vietnam Memorial, Ocean

In order to substantiate our platoon Fox 2/7, Vietnam, 1970-71,
was pinned down for six hours in a rice paddy by NVA. Our lieutenant, Sgt.
