Allen Manuel Allen J. Manuel of Ville Platte, Louisiana, served in the U.S. Army from 1956-66. Since 1993, he has served in many leadership positions in Vietnam Veterans of America. That includes Treasurer of Chapter 632 in Ville Platte, Vice President of the Louisiana State Council, and Director of VVA Region 7. Allen, who is retired, and his wife Norma are the parents of five children: Richard, Vickie Ledoux, Anita Savant, Tonya Guillor, Scott, and Shelly.
