A member of Vietnam Veterans of America since 1988, Barry Hagge is a member of VVA Chapter 349 in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. He was elected to the office of Secretary in 2005. Barry also has served as Chair of the National Constitution Committee for eight years, as Treasurer and Executive Vice President of the Pennsylvania State Council and as his chapter’s Vice President, Secretary and Assistant Secretary. He serves as Secretary of the Oley Township, Pennsylvania, Zoning Hearing Board, and is a member of the Chaplain of Four Chaplains Legion of Honor.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, and raised in Boyertown, Barry enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school in 1964. He served offshore in Vietnam on the U.S.S Galveston in 1965 and in the Naval Support Activity Danang on the YFU-60 in 1966-1967. After his discharge, Barry took advantage of the G.I. Bill and obtained a certificate in Computer Programming after which he went to work in the manufacturing and banking industries.  He is employed as a Manager of Information Security Compliance and Audit at a major financial services company.  

Barry and his wife Dee are the parents of a Cindy and grandparents of Taryn and Madison.
