After receiving an honorable discharge as a First Lieutenant, Marsha Four worked as a hospital nurse until 1996. Since then, she has been the Program Director for Homeless Veteran Services at the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service and Education Center. Her responsibilities include supervision of a 50-bed transitional unit and a homeless veterans daycare center. She began the Philadelphia Stand Down for homeless veterans and served as the organization’s executive director from 1993-98.

Four joined Vietnam Veterans of America in 1997.
