Sponsorship Opportunities The Vietnam Veterans Memorial (“The Wall”) in Washington, D.C was dedicated in November 1982. In many ways, it helped our nation begin to heal, by finally honoring the service and sacrifice of those who fought and died for our country in the Vietnam War. This year is The Wall’s 25th Anniversary -- perhaps the only event of its kind with widespread significance to an entire generation of veterans. As part of this year’s commemoration, on Saturday, November 10, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and Vietnam Veterans Assistance Fund (VVAF) will present the 25th Anniversary Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parade in Washington, D.C. The day’s activities will include a special opening ceremony, the parade itself, and a concert and Veterans’ Reunion Pavilion following the parade.
