Arthur E. Anderson died June 21 in Greenwood, Indiana. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Lawrence Chapter 295.
Charles Bailey died in January 2003 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was born July 31, 1944. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Pontiac Chapter 133.
Donald H. Barnes died June 5 in Milton, Wisconsin, of cancer. He was born August 29, 1950. Barnes served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968-72 with the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam. He was highly decorated. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Fort Atkinson Chapter 409.
Stefanye Bass died in 2002 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was born October 10, 1951. She served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Bass was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Pontiac Chapter 133.
James A. Bender died June 18 in Phoenix. He was born May 21, 1925. Bender was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America- Sheboygan Chapter 618.
Uwe Bigitschke died June 28, 2002, in Sunnyside, New York, of a stroke and emphysema. He was born July 30, 1949, in Germany. Bigitschke served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967-69, with a tour in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Glendale Chapter 32.
Norman Wayne Boskind died July 4 near Chesapeake City, Maryland, the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 16, 1943. Boskind served in the U.S. Army in 1964 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam with a transportation company. He was life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Harford County Chapter 588 in Bel Air, Maryland.
Jon P. Boudreau died recently in Somerville, Massachusetts. He was born March 27, 1942. Boudreau was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Stoneham Chapter 837.
Eddie J. Bragg died in October 2001 in Las Vegas. He was born September 10, 1933. Bragg was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Nevada.
Gilbert Breitenstein, Jr., died July 6 at the Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born September 29, 1952. Breitenstein served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam as a gunner. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Ellensburg, Washington, Chapter 514.
Steven J. Buckley died recently in Elkton, Maryland. Buckley was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Brick Chapter 200.
Larry G. Butler, Sr., died recently in Winter Springs, Florida. He was born March 4, 1943. Butler was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Richmond Chapter 777.
John W. Buttrick, Jr., died April 2 in Cincinnati of Agent Orange-related cancer. He was born April 22, 1947. Buttrick served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam with the First Cavalry Division. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Batavia Chapter 649.
Terrence Charles Byers died October 5 in Lutherville, Maryland, of multiple organ failure. He was born March 11, 1948. Byers served in the U.S. Army with service in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Division. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Pathfinder Batch. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Catonsville Chapter 650.
Phillip Joseph Candiano died June 22 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born April 8, 1932. Candiano served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Des Moines Chapter 490.
Gerald Albert Carriere died June 3 in Sunman, Indiana. He was born March 6, 1941. Carriere served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Aurora Chapter 71.
Joseph H. Casbier died November 6 in Santee, California. He was born October 31, 1946. Casbier served in the U.S. Marine Corps with three tours of duty in Vietnam from 1965-69. He was awarded three Purple Hearts. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-San Diego Chapter 472.
Framl Jack Causley died October 14 in Bay City, Michigan. Causley served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Bay City Chapter 494.
Lloyd V. Chambers, Jr., died in May in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. He was born September 17, 1941. Chambers was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Phoenixville Chapter 436.
Richard Thomas Christensen died November 10 in Enterprise, Alabama. He was born February 15, 1945. Christensen served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Daleville Chapter 373.
Michael J. Cocozza died July 24 in Staten Island, New York, of Agent Orange-related cancer. Cocozza served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the First Infantry Division from 1968-69. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Silver Star. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Staten Island Chapter 421
Terrance Cogan died May 30 in Texarkana, Texas. Cogan served in the U.S. Navy. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Texarkana Chapter 278.
Richard H. Coupe died May 23 in Chesapeake, Virginia, of cancer. He was born March 19, 1928. Coupe served 27 years as a lieutenant commander in Vietnam. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Tidewater Chapter 48.
Reuben D. Crockett died recently in San Jose, California. He was born December 11, 1936. Crockett was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-San Jose Chapter 201.
Dorothy M. Detwiler died May 7 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. She was a Gold Star Mother and a member of Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America-Phoenixville Chapter 436.
Pride E. Diehl committed suicide on July 22 in Ulrichsville, Ohio. He was born December 15, 1951. Diehl served in the U.S. Army with the 11th Armored Cavalry Division in Vietnam in 1970, was involved in the Cambodian incursion, and was highly decorated. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-New Philadelphia Chapter 857.
William Edward Diggs died June 9 in Gloucester, Virginia, of cancer. He was born December 20, 1945. Diggs served in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Gloucester Chapter 813.
Jerry Dilley died recently in Topeka, Kansas. Dilley was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Topeka Chapter 604.
Harvey G. Dillowe, Jr., died recently in Aberdeen, Maryland. Dillowe was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Maryland.
Roger N. Doppler died in February 2003 in Center Point, Texas. He was born May 7, 1943. Doppler was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Ingram Chapter 863.
Stanley J. Dulski died September 16 in Rutland, Vermont, of cancer. He was born November 5, 1948. Dulski served in the U.S. Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Rutland Chapter 1.
Robert E. Egan died September 18 in Mount Holly, New Jersey, of kidney failure. He was born April 1, 1936. Egan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Lanoka Harbor Chapter 855.
William D. Ellifritz died June 30 in Charleston, West Virginia, of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born February 15, 1944. Ellifritz served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, a Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Air Medal. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Cumberland Chapter 172.
Glenn Elliott died October 30 in Santa Rosa, California. He was born June 28, 1917. Elliott served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a Pearl Harbor survivor, and retired at the rank of colonel. He also served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Santa Rosa Chapter 223.
Rodney Linn Fahnestock died January 20 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was born December 14, 1945. Fahnestock served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Miami Chapter 277.
Kenneth J. Fell died recently in Camarillo, California. He was born August 5, 1945. Fell was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Redding Chapter 357.
Glenn Garvey drowned June 7. Garvey was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Farmingdale, New York, Chapter 11.
Herb Gee died recently in Rexburg, Idaho. He was born October 29, 1946. Gee served in the U.S. Army with service in Vietnam from 1968-69. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Rexburg Chapter 876.
William Patrick Gilmore III died August 20, 2002, in Moose, Wyoming. Gilmore was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Gillette Chapter 99.
John E. Glick died recently in Jackson, New Jersey. He was born March 25, 1947. Glick was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Brick Chapter 200.
Douglas Gobie died in 2002 in Waterford, Michigan. He was born June 17, 1945. Gobie served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Pontiac Chapter 133.
Lloyd R. Godwin died July 31, 2002, in Searcy, Arkansas. Godwin was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-North Little Rock Chapter 184.
Clarence C. Goosen died July 19 in Cherokee, Iowa, of cancer. He was born March 22, 1942. Goosen served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1965-66. He was a life member and a charter member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Aurelia Chapter 888.
Ronald J. Grago died recently in Philadelphia. He was born May 27, 1946. Grago was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Liberty Bell Chapter 266.
Willie Frank Grider, Sr., died April 21 in Birmingham, Alabama, of myocardial infarction. He was born October 21, 1947. Grider served in the U.S. Army from 1969-91, including service in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Birmingham Chapter 416.
Jimmy L. Guillot died September 4 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Guillot was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Baton Rouge Chapter 488.
Jimmie Wesley Gulledge died July 7 in Gadsden, Alabama. He was born December 2, 1948. Gulledge served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968-69 and received a Purple Heart. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Gadsden Chapter 637.
C.S. "Kurt" Hafer died May 3 in Houston of heart disease. He was born in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. Hafer served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-74 with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member and treasurer of Vietnam Veterans of America-Houston Chapter 343 and was VVA Member of the Year in 1997.
Delmas Hale died August 8 in Richmond, Indiana. He was born January 14, 1948. Hale served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam as a draftsman engineer. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Richmond Chapter 777.
Reuben Hamilton died May 23 in Kinder, Louisiana. He was born March 23, 1957. Hamilton served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1975-76. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Kinder Chapter 847.
Bobby Cole Harrington died July 27 in Greenville, North Carolina, of cancer. He was born July 25, 1934. Harrington served in the U.S. Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired in 1983 at the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Greenville Chapter 272.
Robin W. Hartsock died in December 2002 in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was born April 4, 1951. Hartsock was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Maryland.
Bruce E. Hartt died recently in Annapolis. Hartt was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Maryland.
Jeremiah T. Hayes died in June in Tampa of a service-connected illness. Hayes served in the U.S. Air Force and retired at the rank of chief master sergeant. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-East Syracuse Chapter 103.
Alexander Henderson died recently in Lubbock, Texas. He was born November 1, 1946. Henderson was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Texas.
James M. Henson died recently in St. Cloud, Florida. He was born March 27, 1925. Henson was a veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Kissimmee Chapter 755.
William Ray Holland died November 10 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was born January 21, 1945. Holland served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Air Medal. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-St. Joseph Chapter 638.
Donald C. Horner died April 3 in Tucson. He was born February 6, 1924. Horner was a highly decorated veteran of three wars: World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Tucson Chapter 106.
Robert Johanknecht died recently in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Johanknecht was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Green Bay Chapter 224.
Howard Keith Johnston died July 10 at the North Kansas City Hospital. He was born December 24, 1949. Johnston served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Kansas City Chapter 317.
Keith J. Karapuz died November 24, 2002, in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. He was born April 18, 1952. Karapuz was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Gallatin, Tennessee, Chapter 240.
Joe L. Kearns died February 11 overseas of prostate cancer while serving with the Headquarters Company, 34th Support Group (ACS), in the Pacific Theater. He was born May 16, 1941. Kearns was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an at-large member of Vietnam Veterans of America.
Patrick James Keipper died July 12 in Fort Wayne. He was born March 21, 1957. Keipper served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Celina Chapter 783.
John W. Kelley died October 9 in Essexville, Michigan. He was born January 15, 1941. Kelley served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Bay City Chapter 494.
John King died March 4 in Leesburg, Florida, of an Agent Orange-related illnesses. He was born December 18, 1936. King enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and served in Vietnam from 1968-69. He retired with 20 years of service at the rank of senior master sergeant. He was an at-large life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Florida.
