VOICES

The VOICES Project of The Miles Foundation has crafted an opportunity for a survivor to publish a review of the policies of the Department of Defense in response to sexual assault. The review should include your experiences, review of various working groups and task forces (including military academies and services), review of Congressional mandates (including Ronald Reagan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005, et al.) and your recommendations for change.

Please note the VOICES Project of The Miles Foundation has supported the publication of articles and reviews by survivors including "Congressional Testimony of the Military's Response to Rape Victims," by Myla Haider, Sexual Assault Report, July 2006 and "Red, White, Black and Blue," by Eve Darcy, Domestic Violence Report, August 2002. Survivors have also published in special editions of the journal Violence Against Women, September 2003. The review will be published in a well respected journal in the field.
